Five Items Guaranteed To Change Your Life!

Five Items Guaranteed To Change Your Life!

Uhmmm, so we’re in August…how the hell did that happen? As we try to comprehend how we even got here, we reflect on all of the things we swore to God we were going to stick to this year. Be more organised, get fit, save money…any of these sound familiar?

Reality check, ladies…80 per cent of New Year’s Resolutions fail by February.

If you’re anything like us, time management always makes our list of resolutions each year and it’s something that can ALWAYS be improved, no matter how organised you think you are. But MOST importantly, better time management means you can come home earlier to binge watch Netflix without feeling guilty.

SO, because we’re all about helping our ladies out, we want to share with you a little secret. Here are the items that help keep us organised (and sane) on the daily and will totally change your life!

1.   Weekly Agenda

You know those weeks where it feels like absolutely everything is happening at the same time, it all has to be done urgently, and there just aren’t enough hours in the day? We feel you. The best way to combat this is to keep calm and use an agenda. The ability to map out your weeks in one central space and pre-empt any crazy-busy times will make you wonder how you lived without it. If you’re keen to get your butt into gear for the rest of this year, our 2017 range is on sale…or look out for future you and snap up one of our shiny new 2018 agendas. Check ‘em out here!

2.   Desk Calendar

Ahh, the old calendar. Commonly known as the ‘I don’t know what to buy you so I’m gonna get you this because everybody needs one of these…right?’ Christmas gift. But nuh-uh, not in the BC office, and not if you want to get sh*t done.  Much like the agendas, a desk calendar helps to visualise all of the things you’ve committed to over the next few weeks on one single page. Plus, they’re freakin’ cute – keep your eyes peeled right here at for our 2018 calendar coming really soon.

3.   To-Do List

Planning out the month ahead is all well and good, but what about the here and now? The daily juggling act is tough and if you keep it all in your head, you will go crazy. We highly recommend using a to-do list to break down and visualise your daily tasks. You can even split this into AM/PM, or write by the hour…whatever helps you sleep at night! Our Daily To Do’s Planner is perf for tracking your day-to-day tasks and help you achieve your goals. There’s seriously no better feeling than ticking things off the list on a hectic day, and trust us…we’re speaking from experience!

4.   Indoor Plants

We make ZERO claims to be professional gardeners here at BC HQ, but luckily, you don’t have to have a green thumb to add a touch of greenery to your workspace! Indoor plants are the these days and make even the most drab of places a little more fab! Studies have found that having green plants in your workplace are likely to make you feel more relaxed and destressed, thereby improving your productivity. So in the name of science, bring the outside in ASAP!

5.   Set of Drawers

When it comes to cleaning up our desk, we’re passionate about the ‘out of sight, out of mind’ philosophy. This approach typically includes hiding things in cupboards, throwing stuff under our beds, and stuffing drawers full. You’re a busy lady with a million and one more important things to do – so make sure those important pieces of paper don’t get lost by using cute little sets of drawers that sit atop your desk. Having a designated snack drawer is also absolutely necessary, no?
